Howdy Blog Fans! The summer is just about over and now that we are back and settled in the city, Mommy is going to be much better about keeping my blog up to date.
On Friday night, Mommy and Daddy rushed me to the Emergency Room at Mt. Sinai because I was having trouble breathing. I had a little cold that day, but it very quickly moved into my lungs. When we got there I was in critical condition and the doctors and nurses were working very quickly to try to open up my airways. I was SUCH a trooper and was so brave, even though I had to have an IV, tons of monitors on my chest and lots of people poking and prodding me. We spent two nights in the pediatric ICU and all of the nice doctors and nurses took such good care of me. I got to come home yesterday afternoon and I am feeling so much better. Now I have a nebulizer machine at home so that hopefully Mommy and Daddy can give me treatments at the first sign of a cold so that it doesn't move into my lungs. When I get my treatments I get to watch TV:) We are all so grateful that I am healthy and back at home where I belong!
